Promotion of Young Scientists

Career support for young scientists

Successful translational research needs interdisciplinary thinking and well-connected scientists who focus on the development of new therapies and preventative measures.

The working group for the promotion of young scientists supports them, and researching physicians, with cross-center training programs and events. The aim is to impart expertise in translational research on cross-indication topics, for example through workshops on special methods and techniques that are of interest to members of several - or even all - DZGs.

Events such as the successful online seminar series "Lunchtime Career Talks" highlight career paths in and around translational health research (Registration for Lunchtime Career Talks). In this way, a multidisciplinary, national and international network of scientists in health research is created. One platform for this is the "DZG Science and Career Day", which will take place annually in the future.
