Since 2019, the national diabetes information portal offers the only platform in Germany for clinical studies on diabetes and pre-diabetes. Interested persons can register in a separate register with diabetes-specific health data and will be automatically notified by e-mail as soon as a suitable study starts.

In 2016, the Lung Information Service, in cooperation with the German Center for Lung Research (DZL), set up an internet-based study portal for the first time. Patients, relatives, and the public can inform themselves in plain language about the clinical trials conducted at the DZL and contact the study centers directly.

The German Center for Cardiovascular Research (DZHK) PIP Volunteer Information Platform presents all ongoing and completed clinical studies of the DZHK in an easy-to-understand manner. Study participants, relatives, and interested persons can use the platform to find out where the studies are being conducted and to gain insight into the study process. Information on the clinical picture is also provided.

The DZNE conducts clinical trials at nine sites throughout Germany. Information about clinical research at the DZNE in general and specific opportunities for participation are presented here.
