The event, with the participation of Federal Minister of Health Prof. Dr. Karl Lauterbach, is dedicated to the overarching question: “Needs-based care for post-infectious diseases - a generational problem?”.
The aim is an intensive exchange on the latest research projects and results, diagnostic procedures and therapeutic approaches in order to continue to guarantee and improve the care of those affected in the future. A particular focus this year will be on research and care for affected children and adolescents. Participants at the congress can choose from various themed rooms in which different research groups will present and then discuss current projects.
Among others, the following will be presented: “Diagnostics - harmonization or specialization” as well as “Therapy: what must be given, what can be given, what is coming soon?” and “Registers, data models and databases: what is available? What else is needed?”
