Tracking down Widespread Diseases

Interdisciplinary and networked throughout Germany, the DZGs research common diseases so that they can be detected more quickly and treated more effectively in the future. Eight areas are currently being researched in the DZG: respiratory and lung diseases, diabetes, cardiovascular diseases, infectious diseases, cancer and neurodegenerative diseases and the health of children and adolescents.
